Sedgemoor has two other Together Teams - East Bridgwater and Highbridge. It is highly successful 'one team' multi-agency approach to service delivery achieving better outcomes for residents and helping local communities to make their place a better place to live, work and enjoy.
The services offered by the umbrella agencies of Together Team - South Bridgwater aim to act as a 'one-stop-shop' for support. It has an outreach approach to meet the needs of individuals and families working with residents to reduce financial hardship whilst improving quality of life, access to work opportunities and aspirations.
Results from the Together Team approach shows that collaborative working is cost-effective and brings together expertise and knowledge for the benefit of residents.
The Together Team seeks to coordinate a holistic, multi-agency response, helping individuals, families and the wider community to address social and economic issues. The Team also seeks to raise community aspirations, encouraging active participation and volunteering to make the local area an attractive, welcoming, accessible and sustainable place in which to live, work and enjoy.
